Arsenal's fate at Champions League!!!

Posted by THE POLICE about 8 years ago · 23 replies

It's the first time in six years that the Gunners have topped their Champions League group, giving them a better chance of progressing past the dreaded last 16.

The potential opponents are as follows: Benfica, Bayern Munich, Bayer Levekusen, Borussia Dortmund/Real Madrid, Porto or Juventus/Sevilla.

Only Arsenal would finish top and still be able to play Bayern Munich or Real Madrid in the round of 16.

All eyes will now be on next Monday's draw, where Arsene's men will learn their fate and hope they get lucky with their opponent.

Howard Webb tips Arsenal to go all the way in the Champions League!!!

When asked his pick for who could go all the way, Webb told BT Sport: "If the draw is kind I just think that, with some momentum, Arsenal might get to the final this year. I really do."

CL Group A is definitely jinxed!!!

If you finish top of the group, play Bayern... If you finish second, play Barca...

Get the away goal and we're fine.

with Bayern is not at their usual best, this would be our best chance to beat them to ground...

But we need to have all our best players available for these games...

Did Wenger really say that the draw is fixed? What exactly did he say and when?

He said it a few years back, I'm paraphrasing but something along the lines of "we already know who we are going to get, you won't get any surprises from UEFA". I'll see if I can find it.
