That's one hell of a low bar to set. We should be aiming for three levels above that. Griezmann, Icardi, Donnarumma, Varane, etc.

I guess you are right. But I still like my options.

Griezmann is too costly considering the big money competitors for his signing.. Benzema would be a fair choice though.. and I really would like to see Varane as a long term replacement for Koscieny, but its tough as long as Zidane stays as Real Madrid Manager..

But the real summer signing would be signing contract extension for Sanchez & Ozil.. And moreover the biggest question on Wenger's stay

We can afford Griezmann, the question isn't if we can afford him. We can afford Messi, all down to whether or not Wenger is willing to spend.

Or if Stan is keen to let the club get who they need instead of charging a lot of money to watch the games and not giving much back to the club.

Can't win with a forward line of Messi, Bale and Suarez, if Mustafi and Xhaka keep passing to the opposition.

Wenger should be ruthless about that and strive for perfection and actually winning games and getting players we need. If you are constantly winning and the games are very entertaining, will you find Arsenal fans selling their tickets

Instead of strengthening the squad, we might endup finding replacements for Sanchez & Ozil this summer, i'm afraid...

Lacazette is poo/Spurs-level. Rodriguez is apparently hellishly slow.

Ricardo Rodriguez is good but I'd prefer someone faster like Ricardo Pereira who is unwanted at Sporting Lisbon and is doing great at Nice. He's a big improvement on both Gibbs and Monreal.

Also, we should probably look for stars that would help improve Arsenal if we switch to a 3-5-2 with Allegri.
