The striker's position does seem to be a problem tbf. I would have appreciated someone like Mane but whatever get Mahrez, play him upfront.

Lacazette is half the player Giroud is anyways, I don't understand why he's even on the radar. The purpose of getting a striker is to upgrade our first-choice option. Lacazette is not doing that.

Plenty of strikers if you're willing to spend enough cash. Man Utd signed a striker. Middlesbrough got two. Swansea got one. Spurs got one. Elsewhere in Europe, Real Madrid signed one...Juventus signed one...

Besides, the teams that didn't sign a striker this year did so because they spent the last three seasons filling that gap. They already have strikers, because they actively looked for them years ago. So even if there was a striker drought on the market (there isn't), it would be our own fault for not looking into this issue sooner.
