Wenger admits Calum Chambers is a future CB, not a full back
On why Chambers is a CB:
First, his stature. The fact he is intelligent and reads the game well, the fact that he’s more at ease in the middle. On the flank, today you need more pace, more change of direction, more agility. He has the stamina, the power and the quality to be a central midfielder or a central defender.
On when we can expect the reincarnation of Tony Adams to claim his place in the starting XI:
He’s pretty much there. At the moment I have players who have more experience than he has but in pre-season I will play him there.
I'm not really surprised by this. I had a feeling Bellerin's emergence and the fact Calum was only ever intended as a makeshift FB in the first place would see him move inside.
