What are you talking about? Same amount of tackles per game as Coquelin, more interceptions per game than Mertesacker or Debuchy. Very few assists/goals/shots/key passes, started a third of his games as an outright DM. Taller than every single Arsenal player except Giroud, Chezzer and BFG.

They both are. Monaco plays a deep 4-2-3-1.

That may be the case but Toulalan is the true DM. I've never actually watched him play week in, week out but someone was telling me he has never been that great at Sevilla or Monaco, just that banger against us and a good few games towards the tail end of last season.

Schneiderlin still is the trump card for me, like a defensive Arteta with height. Should be picked in games where we have to build from the back rather than use Coquelin's erratic passing ability.
