Pretty good stats, although his 27 goals in 33 appearances is a bit deceiving as eight of them were penalties. The only worry I'd have at £21m is that he's unproven in the Premier League, and he's quite short. Wenger prefers his strikers tall, lean and handsome.

Someone completely different to Giroud is exactly what we need. Put the right striker infront of our midfield and they could bag 25+ in the league

Would rather see us properly go for Benzema, even if Real Madrid don't want to sell him. We need to start being ruthless in the transfer windows and not just go for what is available. Make a £30m public bid for Benzema to get him thinking about his options. Talk in the media about how Benzema would complete our line-up, etc. Then go to £40m if necessary.

Sport are saying Pedro could be moving to Chelsea...please no. I've been on about Pedro for a while now, he would be perfect to fill the huge winger gap we have n the squad. Only Sanchez and Theo are 100% capable of playing on the wing, despite none of them being actual wingers. We need at least one more direct wing player who bombs forward instead of cutting inside and gently passing the ball side to side.
