Maybe I am in the minority, but I am really not impressed with this signing, if it happens. Iirc, Lacazette is behind Giroud in the pecking order for the French national team. Getting him for 50 mil is not a great piece of business in my mind.

Well, thing is, for france's settup Giroud and Gignac are the perfect #9s, that's why Benzema's controversy didn't impact the national team's way of playing.

Anybody thought about how we might be missing a backup / future starter goalkeaper? ospina is leaving and cech is getting his age on, i've always thought emi martinez would make the cut but who knows

How about Icardi? he could be an asshole but he is a world class striler (and asshole) he could be arround the 30-40 million marks and he would score 20+ goals in a PL season
